General Mills – Monsters (3D-some!)

Created for a General Mills as re-boot of the famed Monster-Cereal character designed by Jay Ward in the 1970′s – here’s a retro piece featuring Count Chocula, Frankenberry and Booberry (along with an original character or two) set as a Faux-Japanese movie from the 70′s.

I redesigned the count’s face and body to make him a little prettier although that’s not always an easy thing. The Big Pink (Frankenberry) has got it on with a Blaxploitation-West Hollywood Retro-Metro thing. And Booberry (plus Newberry) are looking marshmallowy good, no?
