MAJESTYLAND
WELCOME to MAJESTYLAND…
Big Ben chimes twelve and the land of the rising sun awakens…
Once upon a time, in our future’s past, a prolific Japanese gaming conglomerate takes political control of the world’s most populous and iconic city – London…and in so doing creates a mythological destination for gamers, criminals, vacationers, lovers, fighters, gamblers…the heroes and the villains…all converge on what is now called…”Majestyland”.
Employing a new technology known as “WA” (harmony), Her Majesty’s Rising Sun Corporation entrances a new generation to play for their lives in a mysterious city where some people never die, and others take on the powers and personas of the heroes from our past – real and imagined. This is not virtual. Death and life in Majestyland are both very real…
One man in a bowler hat with Samurai sword in tow arrives into the fog… about to unlock the secrets of Majestyland…his past and our future…

Every artist needs to build within a world, and so I’ve created one where my characters, legends, mythologies exist, grow and come alive.
I came up with the idea of Majestyland after many years of building art with background stories. Some of this ended up on T-shirts, bags, and others on canvas, but whatever the medium there was a consistency to the types of heroes, stories, etc. that I wanted to see made real. I developed their names and character traits built on elements of the things I loved, and grew up with in Popular-Culture. From Leiji Matsumoto’s anime, to James Clavell’s novels to James Bond to the Yakuza-Eiga films of Toei and Nikkatsu…
Majestyland is not an animated film…yet, although I intend it to be. For now, the story unfolds on all the products and creative concepts I develop…including Mayumi who is the “Hello Kitty” of my universe. Life imitates art and then back again…
I hope that you will support this vision and help me make it real, into the future where wearing a kimono with a bowler hat will seem quite normal ^o^
